CONGRADULATIONS TO THE WINNERS!

On behalf of Perry and I, Texas Tournament Baseball, and all of our staff, we would like to thank you for making our 2009 Super Series World Series a big success.  This year's National was one of the biggest Super Series events of the year with more than 1,500 kids and 56 teams from as far away as California.  Competition was good, parents were great and the baseball fun.  Wednesday night's "Night with the Rangers" turned out to be an awesome night.  To see all of those kids eyes light up as they walked the onto the field with their banners...(and a few coaches too) is truly an unforgettable and memorable night. 

With that said, we had our obstacles -  two days of rain that pushed games until the wee morning hours, bats that kept braking, ice machines breaking...etc, etc, but all and all, this was a great week.  BTW - No injuries and no real ejections!

Again a quick "thanks" and an invitation to come back next year.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE EL PASO PIRATES

This year's parade was bigger than every. With more than 1,500 kids and 56 teams represented, the U7 El Paso Pirates won the Banner Contest, sponsored by Texas Tournament Baseball and the Texas Rangers.

  List are several things to remember:

1. Please, be on-time with your BC in roster order. This will make the process a lot quicker.
    

2. Names MUST BE EXACTLY AS THEY APPEAR IN THE B/C.  No exception.
    

3. No duplicate address unless the player are twins, brothers, ect.
    

4. Players must be IN FULL UNIFORM.  A mandatory team picture will be taken. 
   
   THERE WILL BE NO CAMERAS or PHONES ALLOWED IN THE PICTURE AREA.
    

5. Players must have their original/certified BIRTH CERTIFICATE or other approved documentation - plus 2 copies of each.
    

6. Team pre-orders will be available for pick-up at the souvenir tables.  Please have whoever placed the order pick them up.  Once they leave the table, the merchandise is yours.  NO REFUND or EXCHANGES.
    

7. This is a great time to exchange your pins, so make sure you bring them.
    

8. If you have not purchased your tournament passes, please do so BEFORE MONDAY.  If you wait, I promise will be in a 30+ minute line on a 100° day! 

Sunday's Mandatory Meetings

Sunday morning at 10am, every team must be represented in  the 1st of 2 mandatory coaches meetings.  The other will be held Tuesday night - time to be determined.

Along with the Mandatory Coaches Meeting, we will also host a Team Mom's (Mangers) meeting next door.  This is probably the most important meeting of all, so please have someone there!

The signature event of the week is Wednesday's  "Night with the Texas Rangers". 

Texas Tournament Baseball and the Texas Rangers will put on a special night for the boys that they will never forget.  It starts with a  Parade of Teams and Team Banner Contest and ends with three players throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.  It is a spectacular night!

Hotel rooms will be very hard to find as there are several major events happening in the Metroplex that week. Texas Tournament Baseball has BLOCK 350 rooms PER NIGHT in several of the area closest hotels.   We have special pricing with the following: MCM Grande, Holiday Express and Suites, Hilton Gardens, Laquita - Desoto (new) Hampton Inn - Desoto (new)  We will add rooms and hotels as they become available.  Manager's as soon as you confirm you are coming, you need to book your rooms.  It's simple, just compete the form, telling us what you need and we go to work for you.  You will need a credit card, but not until we have located suitable arrangements.   THIS IS A FREE SERVICE TO THE TRAVELING TEAMS!
